Photos from Pripyat

A few years ago, my sister took a trip to the Ukraine and was granted permission to enter the exclusion zone to visit the dead city of Pripyat. The photos she took are not only wonderfully evocative, but also hauntingly harrowing. I'm posting them here because I feel they are a wonderful source of inspiration for both miniatures and table-top scenery alike.

  1. Just found your blog and I love what I'm seeing, the sculpting is of course top notch as the characters you're building are but those photos are equally frightening and inspiring !

  3. I too just found your blog :)

Loving your minis, very creative & inspiring. Regarding Pripyat, I kinda know the place off by heart, as I played the modern warfare game (a bit too much) that was set in it. The photo's are really eerie. I'd love to visit it myself one day, It'd be an experience to remember.

Just finally, could you add a "follow" button on your blog please. I wanna keep up to date with your creations :)

    Cheers.

    1. I think I've added a 'follow by email', I can't find just a 'follow' button in the gadgets list. Keeping a blog is still a bit alien for me. ^///^
